EDUCATION
I am a passionate environmentalist focused on creating and implementing solutions to climate change.

I graduated in 2020 with my M.P.A. in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University to hone my expertise in the scientific, technical and political solutions to the climate crisis. There, I conducted demonstration research on mineral-based carbon sequestration through the Lahmont Doherty Earth Observatory.
As a Pennsylvania-native, I am interested in forging cutting-edge and sustainable solutions to energy problems. I earned my undergraduate degree from the Pennsylvania State University in Earth Science and Policy, Energy Specialization and a minor in Sustainable Leadership in May of 2019. There, I focused on the intersection of energy and conservation. My studies took me to Costa Rica and Cuba to study conservation policy in different economies. Later, I studied renewable energy systems at Iceland's Reykjavik University.

During my tenure at Penn State, I took a semester away from campus to work as an intern at the Pennsylvania Environmental Council, where I stayed for 2 years. There, I oversaw the RFP to Feasibility Study study of Glacier's Edge Conservation Landscape through nine counties in Western Pennsylvania. To do so, we conducted stakeholder interviews, hired consultants, and created maps among a host of other things. In this non-profit role, I balanced government grants and private consultants.
